We have been taking our six dogs to Boerne Vet since 2009, back when Dr. Rapp was still practicing, and over the years they have become so much more than our vet- they have become part of our family. Dr. Arreola, Dr. Miner, Dr. Johnson, and the entire staff, with a special shoutout to Shannon, have walked alongside us through every joyful moment and every difficult one with our dogs. Their patience, kindness, compassion, and genuine care have meant more to us than words can express. We are deeply grateful for the love and support they have shown our pets and our family, and we wholeheartedly recommend Boerne Vet to anyone looking for a veterinary team they can trust.
I relocated from Houston to Boerne in 2019 with my little female Schnauzer named Bibi. I was fortunate enough to have been referred to Boerne Vet Clinic and Dr. Victoria Miner. Bibi and I were welcomed with open arms to such a wonderful, privately owned local clinic. The staff, including the reception area, the techs, et al make you feel part of the family. But… most importantly, the care Bibi received and the love and attention she was given was extraordinary. When little Bibi became ill, and we all knew the worst of times was near, the care taken in her last moments was gentle, kind, and caring. Not only for Bibi but for me as well. We all know what that loss feels like. I would always recommend, with confidence, Boerne Vet Clinic for those in search of a professional, knowledgeable, loving, caring group of doctors, techs, and administrators.

The associates at Boerne veterinary clinic are very kind and treat my cat with care. They take time to explain treatment and I didn’t feel rushed. The veterinarian was gentle with my cat and the technician held him with ease. I am happy I found this clinic.
I love this place because you can see the love of the staff when they are providing care for our pets. They do everything they can to make everything better for our pets.

Dr. Rapp and his staff have always been great with my dog Lady. On August 1, my dog was run over and near death. Dr. Rapp and his staff acted so quickly they were able to stabilize her until we could get her to the hospital in San Antonio. Thanks to them and their expertise and the good Lord we still have her. Great vets!!
Dr Rapp and his staff are the best. I wont go anywhere else for my vet needs. He is the most caring Dr and person, and my cats have been lucky to have him for their care.
I just want to thank the whole staff there. Such caring and wonderful people, although I would have rather not been there for the reason to put my beloved little “Lady” girl down. I thank God for the 16 years I had with her.

These people are the best out there. They actually CARE about your fur baby. They go above and beyond. Dr. Steve Rapp is the most caring person. He understands that it’s not just a dog or cat or any other animal. He knows that animal is part of your family. His employees show the same concern. Love them all.
Over our 25 years in Boerne, we have taken our dogs to Boerne Veterinary Clinic. Our puppies have always had their needs tended to by their most competent, professional, personable staff. The staff has a can-do attitude, all with a smile! And, they are attentive to my texts and emails, getting whatever I need post haste!
When our longtime veterinary doctor retired, I truly didn’t know where to take my precious animals. I tried several clinics in the Boerne area, but I was not happy with any of them. A friend recommended Boerne Veterinary Clinic. What a relief the first visit was, I had finally found the perfect doctors and staff to care for my animals. We have received nothing but generous, compassionate, professional, friendly, personal, and genuine care, especially as our precious family members passed to the other side. I always, 1000%, recommend Boerne Veterinary Clinic…no better care available.
My loving relationship with Boerne Vet Clinic started when I was desperately needing guidance and assistance for my 15-year-old cat, who was diagnosed with acute kidney failure. They graciously took me under their wings and began a biweekly infusion process that lasted for the next two years. Kitty ultimately passed due to a tumor in her jaw…
During all of this, I became affectionately known as the Frequent Flyer!!
Each and every one of the staff treated me as if I were family!! Always heartfelt warm greetings with each visit! And not only me; I witnessed on numerous occasions where they treated other clients just as well! Professionalism, Courtesy, Empathy, Respect, Cheerfulness, and Integrity would sum up my description of this wonderfully blessed clinic!!
Just an AWESOME place for you and your pooch. They are sooooo considerate and accomodating, friendly, and experts in their field. I drive 45 minutes just to see them. Also, HUGE cost savings! HUGE! Quality and value and care! Amazing place to take your pets!

Our primary vet recommended Boerne Vet Clinic for dental cleaning citing they are one of the few, independently owned & operated clinics left in the area that he trusts. Had our first visit today with Dr. Arreola and was impressed. No pitching of medically unnecessary treatment like corporate-owned clinics do these days (Ive seen this at 7 other places we’ve been to in town throughout the years). Sound, reasonable judgement noticed. They may likely become our primary vet in the future when our current vet retires.
Warmly welcomed by everyone, from receptionist to vet tech to Dr. Arreola, who gave me some excellent treatment options for my little dog with multiple issues. She patiently listened to my concerns and gave him a gentle, very thorough exam. Highly recommend this practice.

The doctors and staff are the best I’ve ever experienced. My dog, Faith, had been to 5 vet clinics over the first 9 years we had her due to moves. At her last clinic the vet had an extremely poor bedside manner, but I continued to go there just because the location was near my home. In early January 2017, Faith’s vet called late one night to say her blood work was “weird.” I was told I needed another test the following day because it was probably cancer of some sort but she wasn’t sure. I decided to get a second opinion. A close friend recommended Dr. Rapp. Faith did indeed have cancer, but the difference in how she and I were treated was like night and day. We only had 2 visits to Boerne Vet Clinic before we had to euthanize Faith. On each visit we coincidentally were treated by 2 different vets (Dr. Rapp & Dr. Wilson) – each equally caring & respectful. One vet even gave his personal phone number in case I had questions, since we had never had to go through letting go of a pet before. The night before we were scheduled to euthanize Faith, she had a seizure. The 3rd vet, which we had not seen in person, just happened to still be at the clinic and was willing to wait and take care of Faith. Dr. Arreola and at least 2 staff members stayed over an hour after closing in order for us to drive the 20 minutes to reach the clinic, say our goodbyes to Faith, and make sure she went peacefully. We were given as much time as we needed, and everyone was kind and helpful. Even when I went to pick up Faith’s remains a couple of weeks later, they treated them with reverence. The final gesture that demonstrated this clinic’s dedication to Faith (a dog each of them only met once) was when I received a letter from Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Center stating a donation had been made in her name to support the Capper and Chris Save the Animals Fund. After our first visit to Boerne Vet Clinic, I knew I had made the right decision, and even before receiving the letter of donation I knew that any future pets we may have will only be treated at Boerne Vet Clinic.
