Angeline Arreola, DVM

Angeline Arreola, DVM

Veterinarian / Owner

Dr. Angeline Arreola is a co-owner and veterinarian at Boerne Veterinary Clinic. Raised in Kingsville, Texas, Dr. Arreola earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Texas A&M University–Kingsville. She went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. Through her experiences in academics and clinical practice, she has developed special interests in veterinary dentistry, internal medicine, and surgery.

Dr. Arreola is passionate about building lasting relationships with clients and delivering compassionate, high-quality care to pets and their families. She takes pride in treating every patient with the same dedication she would give her own animals.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Arreola enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband and two daughters. Their family includes a sweet and gentle Collie named Bogart, a handsome orange tabby named Michael, a bearded dragon named Road, and a small flock of chickens.

Reena Johnson, DVM

Veterinarian / Owner

Dr. Reena Johnson is a co-owner and veterinarian at Boerne Veterinary Clinic. Originally from Waco, Texas, she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University, graduating cum laude. Her professional interests include internal medicine, preventive care, and diagnostic imaging.

Dr. Johnson has pursued extensive continuing education and advanced training in veterinary ultrasonography, allowing her to provide detailed, non-invasive diagnostic evaluations that help guide treatment decisions and improve patient care. She enjoys combining advanced diagnostics with compassionate, personalized medicine for every patient she treats.

Outside the clinic, Reena enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and their pets. She and her family enjoy exploring Boerne and the surrounding Hill Country and spending as much time outdoors as possible. Dr. Johnson is proud to serve the Boerne community and values the lasting relationships she builds with clients and their pets.

Tori Miner, DVM

Tori Miner, DVM

Veterinarian / Owner

Tori Miner, owner of Boerne Veterinary Clinic since 2020, brings deep roots to the practice. She started working at the clinic at a young age alongside her uncle, Dr. Rapp, and enjoys senior pet care, pain management, surgery, and dog behavior. Tori and her husband are raising two young boys while caring for 9 pets on their property in the beautiful Hill Country. Of those, her 2 golden retrievers, Copper and Maverick, are often keeping everyone company at the office. Her family-centered approach and passion for compassionate care help every pet and their family feel at home.
Phyllis Voltz-Creamer, DVM

Phyllis Voltz-Creamer, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Phyllis Voltz-Creamer joined Boerne Veterinary Clinic as a relief veterinarian in 2022, bringing with her more than four decades of veterinary experience and a lifelong passion for animal care. She graduated from the University of Texas in 1974 with a degree in Science and History. During her undergraduate studies, she attended five universities, including the renowned Oceanography School through the University of Texas during her senior year. She later earned her veterinary degree from Texas A&M University in 1980.

After graduating, Dr. Voltz-Creamer practiced in San Antonio at Camelot Animal Hospital and several other local clinics before moving to Laredo in 1983. In 1988, she purchased Laredo Animal Clinic, where she dedicated more than 30 years to caring for pets and their families before retiring from practice ownership in 2019.

Throughout her career, Dr. Voltz-Creamer has developed a special interest in exotic animal medicine, having worked with exotic species at both the Los Angeles Zoo and an exotic animal hospital in Hollywood. She is also known for her gentle touch and special connection with senior feline patients, helping them receive the compassionate care they deserve.

When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Voltz-Creamer enjoys spending time in her greenhouse. As an avid gardener, she takes great pride in cultivating beautiful violets and orchids. You can also find her spending time with her husband and close friends, grandchildren, and her beloved pets—dogs Rosie and Nickie, a 45-year-old African Grey named Yankee, and her cat Merlin.

Chey has been a dedicated veterinary professional since 2017 and joined the Boerne Veterinary Clinic team in 2021. Beginning her career as a veterinary technician, she advanced into the role of Practice Manager in 2023. She is passionate about building a strong team, fostering professional development, and creating a supportive, growth-focused clinic culture. She is passionate about leadership development and is actively involved in forming a connected community of veterinary managers across the Texas Hill Country.

Chey has always had a deep love for animals, having grown up around dogs, cats, exotics, and horses. She shares her home with her four beloved pets—Nesryn, Aiyanna, Ryo-Ohki, and Artemis.

Outside of the clinic, Chey is passionate about harm reduction and community care, and enjoys traveling and playing music with her husband Tanner, attending music festivals, painting, cooking, reading, and seeking out new adventures. Her easygoing, grounded energy carries into her leadership style, where she strives to create an environment rooted in compassion, connection, and continuous growth.

Shannon started at Boerne Veterinary Clinic in January 2018. She and her family moved from Maryland in 2015. Though new to Boerne, Shannon is not new to the veterinary field, as she has 16 years of experience in a veterinary hospital in Eldersburg, Maryland. When she is not helping to care for your furry family members, she can be found in her kitchen baking up goodies or on adventures with her family—husband Steve, son Jesse, daughter Vivian, and her pets: two dogs, Prickly Pear and Sophie, and her cat Penny.

Alexus earned her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University–Kingsville. Growing up with a strong appreciation for animals, wildlife, and the outdoors inspired her career in veterinary medicine and continues to fuel her commitment to animal health and well-being. When she’s not at the clinic, Alexus enjoys spending time with her pets and exploring nature. She is dedicated to creating positive experiences for both patients and their families while providing compassionate, high-quality care.

Hi! My name is Summer and I’ve worked with animals, particularly livestock, for my whole life. I joined BVC in 2021, where I was introduced to small animal medicine, and am excited to continue my journey in this field. In my spare time, you can find me in the pasture with my goat Gouda, or on the hiking trails with my Chihuahua Augie.

Kambry joined the Boerne Vet Clinic in September of 2024 as a first time technician. She has always dreamed of working with animals and is excited to further her knowledge and skills by learning from the best! Kambry likes to spend her free time reading and taking her Great Pyrenees dog Ghost on hikes and long walks around the hill country area. She also loves to visit the beach and find new vacation spots all around the country for solo trips with Ghost.

Chloe is a veterinary technician that started off as an intern in August 2022, and later achieved her CVA certification at the young age of 17. Chloe has a dog named Huxley and a cat named Ava. Her favorite animals are reptiles, which have a special place in her heart. Chloe’s hobbies include crafts, hiking with Huxley, and spending time with her friends.

Lauryn joined our team in October 2024 as a first time veterinary technician. She has always loved working with animals. She grew up having a variety of animals around including livestock, horses, and small animals like dogs, cats, and bunnies. As a kid she was a part of FFA, 4H, rodeo, gymnastics and tennis. When she was just 12 years old she started volunteering at vet clinics and animal shelters.

She recently achieved her Bachelor’s degree in animal science with a pre-vet concentration from Tarleton State University. She plans furthering her education with a Masters degree while applying for Vet school. When she is not working or studying Lauryn loves spending time in her craft room along with spending time with all of her pets big and small.

She recently graduated from Texas Tech University with a bachelors in Animal Science and she currently is working on her masters in Animal Health and has hopes of starting vet school soon. In her free time she enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her friends.

Sierra grew up in San Antonio and brings years of experience in the veterinary field, with a background spanning emergency medicine, shelter medicine, and general practice.

Since joining the team in March 2026, she has been excited to continue growing professionally while making a meaningful impact on both patients and clients. Her passion for animals extends beyond the workplace—at home, she cares for a lively family of five dogs, five cats, and one bunny. She loves the energy and joy animals bring to both her work and home life.

AJ joined Boerne Veterinary Clinic as an intern in the summer of 2025 and graduated from high school with her CVA. She then became an official member of the technician team in June of 2026.

When she was little, AJ’s family said she had a “soft heart” for animals. She grew up deeply caring for them and became eager to learn everything she could about animal sciences.

Outside of working with the BVC team, you can find AJ tending to her plants, being out on the lake, behind a camera, or obsessing over her two cats— Magic and Brimstone, and her Boston Terrier— Luna.

AJ is motivated and determined to make a difference in her community and to create a positive and warm environment for patients, clients, and her team members!

Delicia Mendoza began working as a receptionist at Boerne Veterinary Clinic in October of 2024, combining her strong organizational skills with a lifelong passion for animals. Ever since she was a child, Delicia loved caring for both large and small animals, which has made her role especially meaningful. Outside of work, she stays connected to her roots through active participation in Mexican rodeos, a tradition she has proudly shared with her family in both the United States and Mexico. These experiences have shaped her into someone who values hard work, compassion, and cultural heritage.

Kristin grew up in a small South Dakota town, an animal lover from the very start. Her life has been full of travel, including moves to Minnesota, Wisconsin, Texas, Ohio, and back to Texas. After many years of volunteering at animal shelters, in 2020 she took the plunge to follow her passion and left a career in banking to spend more time with the animals she loves so much.

Kristin has been at BVC since July 2025. She lives in San Antonio with her husband, rescue dog Jensen, and elderly cat Tango. Kristin enjoys taking Jensen to the park and talking about dogs to anyone who will listen. She loves getting to know our clients and patients and can’t wait to create a positive experience for you.

Hi! My name is Sydney Dupre, and I graduated from Texas Tech University with a bachelor’s in Psychology and a minor in Nutrition. I’ve always had a love for animals, and I’m so grateful to be able to work in an environment filled with both amazing people and adorable pets everyday.

Outside of work, I love traveling with my boyfriend and exploring new food spots together.
