Angeline Arreola, DVM

Veterinarian / Owner

Dr. Angeline Arreola is a co-owner and veterinarian at Boerne Veterinary Clinic. She was raised in Kingsville, TX, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University – Kingsville. While studying in Kingsville, she was involved with wildlife genetic research on feral pigs and gray foxes with the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute and USDA-APHIS Wildlife Services. She graduated from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and developed her passion for small animal medicine. Her interests included internal medicine and surgery.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends. She married her best friend, Chelo Arreola in Boerne in 2011. They are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters, Genevieve and Sofia. They share their home with a sassy but lovable cat named Mimosa and a sweet Collie named Bogart. Dr. Arreola loves developing relationships with clients and their pets and provides compassionate care to animals in the Boerne community.

Reena Johnson, DVM

Veterinarian / Owner

Dr. Reena Johnson is a co-owner and veterinarian at Boerne Veterinary Clinic. She is from Waco, TX and attended Texas A&M University where she earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, graduating cum laude. She also attended Texas A&M University for undergraduate studies, receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and a minor in Psychology. During her time at veterinary school, Reena’s focus of study was small animal medicine with a special interest in internal medicine, ultrasonography, and preventative care.

When Reena is not working, she is spending time with her husband and their two pets. They have a schnauzer mix named Ellie and a cat named Fig. Together they spend their free time hiking in all the great state parks around Boerne. Dr. Johnson is delighted to be at Boerne Veterinary Clinic and enjoys building lasting relationships with clients and their pets.

Tori Miner, DVM

Veterinarian / Owner

Dr. Tori Miner is a co-owner and veterinarian at Boerne Vet Clinic. She hails all the way from Arlington, VA but has a special connection to Boerne and the clinic as she is the recently retired Dr. Rapp’s niece. Dr. Miner obtained her veterinary degree at Virginia Tech up in Blacksburg, VA. During her time in school, she became interested in small animal internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, ophthalmology, and has a special interest in canine behavior.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, at their ranch, with their menagerie of animals. She is a new mom and is loving every second of it. Dr. Miner loves building long-lasting relationships with clients and their pets and being there to offer advice from puppy and kitten-hood into senior life.

Chey Enole

Operations Manager

Chey joined the Boerne Vet Clinic family in May 2021 but has been in the industry since 2017. She has always had a love for animals; being around dogs, cats, exotics, and riding horses before she could walk! When she isn’t in scrubs you can find her traveling and playing music with her husband Tanner, loving on her 3 fur-babies; Nesryn, Aiyanna, and Ryo-Ohki, going to music festivals, painting, singing, reading, and generally endeavoring for extraordinary adventures!

Shannon McDonald

Veterinary Technician

Shannon started at Boerne Veterinary Clinic in January of 2018. She and her family moved from Maryland in 2015. Though new to Boerne, Shannon is not new to the veterinary field as she has 16 years of experience in a veterinary hospital in Eldersburg, Maryland. When she is not helping to care for your furry family members, she can be found in her kitchen baking up goodies or on adventures with her family, husband Steve, son Jesse, daughter Vivian and Dachshund Gracie!

Destanie Delgado

Receptionist/Veterinary Technician

Destanie started working at BVC in July of 2020. Destanie has deep compassion for the care of animals and is never one to back down from a challenge. She enjoys talking to clients and has a great thirst for knowledge. That is why she has been trained as both a receptionist and veterinary technician. Destanie’s hobbies include reading books, puzzles, outdoor activities, and cooking for her fiancé Richard. Destanie has 3 fur babies. Two pit bull dogs named Luci and Red Pig Alonzo and a cat named Fish.

Alexus Weckmann

Veterinary Technician

Alexus has been working at Boerne Veterinary Clinic since July of 2021. She received her Bachelors in Animal Science at Texas A&M University – Kingsville. Alexus’ hobbies include going on walks, eating brunch on Sundays, and spending time with her Australian Shepherds: Amelia, Siena, and her cat Moochi.

Avery Fanning

Veterinary Technician

Avery Fanning started her journey with Boerne Vet Clinic back in 2014. After several years, she left to focus on family, but is now so grateful to be back! Avery has almost ten years of experience working in veterinary medicine and truly loves providing care to animals and their owners. She says, “Compassion, standard of care, and integrity are what I value the most as a technician and as a pet owner. These values are at the heart of this clinic and I am proud to work with such amazing people.” In her spare time, Avery is an avid kayaker, painter, and beekeeper. She lives in Boerne with her dogs Charlie, Maggie, and Mojo, and cats Sake, Otis, and Annie.

Gali Knight

Veterinary Technician

Gali Knight started at Boerne Veterinary Clinic in 2023. She was originally born in Saint Petersburg, Russia and moved to the United States at the age of 11. She has been working in the veterinary industry since 2017. She is passionate about surgery, ambulatory work, emergency and critical care. She has a total of 7 dogs that are all rescues: Connor, Pluto, Zoey, Scooter, Benji, Dexter, and Steel. During her free time she likes to workout, hike, hunt, and travel.

Summer Hill

Veterinary Technician

Summer grew up with livestock, some would even say she was raised in a barn, with how often she was with her animals. For as long as she can remember, she wanted to work with livestock professionally until she came to BVC and found a love caring for cats and dogs. In her spare time you can find her out in the pasture with her goat Gouda, or on the hiking trails with her Great Pyrenees Murphy. She also enjoys camping, hunting and fishing.

Kambry Mangum

Veterinary Technician

Kambry joined the Boerne Vet Clinic in September of 2024 as a first time technician. She has always dreamed of working with animals and is excited to further her knowledge and skills by learning from the best! Kambry likes to spend her free time reading and taking her Great Pyrenees dog Ghost on hikes and long walks around the hill country area. She also loves to visit the beach and find new vacation spots all around the country for solo trips with Ghost.

Chloe Burtoft

Veterinary Technician

Chloe is a veterinary technician that started off as an intern in August 2022, and later achieved her CVA certification at the young age of 17. Chloe has a dog named Huxley and a cat named Ava. Her favorite animals are reptiles, which have a special place in her heart. Chloe’s hobbies include crafts, hiking with Huxley, and spending time with her friends.

McKayla Griffin

Receptionist

McKayla moved back to Texas in September 2022 and began working for Boerne Vet Clinic as a receptionist in December 2022. She previously worked at a dog boarding facility in Houston for 4 years and many years as a receptionist. She loves all animals and working at BVC!

When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband Avery and their two young kids, fishing, going to the zoo, and spending time outside. She has a standard poodle named Esther and two kittens, RedSox and Ginger.

Nora Carrillo

Receptionist

Nora joined the Boerne Veterinary Clinic family July 2024 as a receptionist. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband Justin, family, friends and 2 cats, Mufasa and Kitty. Nora’s hobbies include spending time outdoors, hiking and horseback riding.

Dessi Gonzalez

Receptionist

Dessi’s personality has been brightening Boerne Veterinary Clinic since March of 2024. Dessi is one of our receptionists at the clinic & hopes to one day move into the technician side of BVC. She is also one of our social media gals. One of Dessi’s biggest passions besides the vet world is rescuing animals. When she is not working she spends time with fiancé, her furry friends Rosa & Mimi, family/ friends & her businesses. She loves going to church, visiting the beach, going on walks, doing puzzles & socializing. Her favorite thing is spending time reminiscing on Hawaii with her fiancé.
